THINK PANCAKES!!!!

 All American children know that a pancake is thick, round and dry, and that you add a topping to it. British children will tell you it is thin, slightly oiled and tastes best rolled up with lemon juice and sugar in the middle. Egyptian children eat it as a snack, folded in half, stuffed with nuts or cream, deepfried and soaked in sugar syrup. 

In Burlington , Iowa the pancake resembles all Kiwanian’s favorite time of year…. The Pancake Breakfast. Mark your calendars now for Saturday, May 27 th , the official day of the pancake breakfast. This is the biggest fundraiser that our Kiwanis Club has, so make sure you do your part to help out! The more members who stand on the sidelines….the bigger the burden remains for those working so hard to make things run smoothly. 

So, mark your calendars and please make yourself available to participate. The satisfaction of helping your club, needy kids and fellow Kiwanians is invaluable!!!!!
