Dear Kiwanians, 

Only two months to go until the end of my term as President. I can’t believe it, this year is going too fast. I want to thank Jim Knapp and his committee for their work on the Kiawanis Fun Day. We had another very exciting event. It is always a good time when we get together socially. I also want to thank Dennis Dietzman and his committee for their hard work on the Family Picnic/Kids night at the Bees. I know they have worked very hard to put together an event that is enjoyable for kids and Kiwanians. Thanks to all. 

At the last board meeting, the board discussed an issue that comes up every couple of years. The issue of solicitations during our general meetings. It has been a policy of our club that we do not allow solicitations during our general meetings without Presidential or board approval. The board does not want our members to feel obligated to donate, during our general meetings, to organizations or events, that have not been pre-approved by the board. Thank you for your consideration on this issue.
